Permanent Cosmetics

Permanent cosmetics (Micropigmentation) is a state of the art procedure where micro-insertions of natural pigments are applied into the dermal layer of the skin to produce designs that resemble make-up, such as eyelining, and enhance or restore colors to the skin of the face or body.

Q & A:

Who can benefit from Permanent Cosmetics?

  • Men and women
  • Individuals with limited time or find the application of daily make-up inconvenient
  • Individuals with allergies to conventional make-up
  • Those who are physically incapable of applying make-up
  • Athletes and those with oily skin who shed make-up easily
  • Burn victims and people with scars
  • Individuals who seek to correct asymmetrical features
  • Entertainers, actors, and models
  • Individuals who wish to look their best at all times

  • Is the procedure painful?
Rather than painful, individuals describe a slight discomfort. Topical anesthetics, however, are used to minimize such discomfort.

Do I have a choice of colors?
Yes!  There is a wide spectrum of colors than can be customized accordingly.

Do I have a choice in the placement of pigments?
Yes.  A consultation will be conducted prior to any procedure where you can convey where you wish the pigment to be located.

    What is involved in recovery?
It is typical to experience slight swelling and redness in the treated area, but it usually subsides quickly.  You may resume normal activities immediately after the procedure.  Usually, it will take one to six weeks before the pigment matures and reaches its final color.
